Scientific assessment committee visit

Last 27^th and 28^th October 2014, LIFE MigratoEbre Project had the visit of the Scientific Assessment Committee. This Committee, an advisory and assessment body formed by

renowned Catalan and international experts in fish field and in its status improvement (Universities of Girona, Lleida and Santiago de Compostela, or institutions as IRSTEA o MIGADO, from France, amongst others) was formed with the aim to develop specialized analysis and assessment tasks to ensure a proper project development.

The Committee visited Flix and Xerta locks and Ascó and Xerta’s weirs, and also visited MónNatura Delta, in Tancada lagoon, and IRTA facilities in Sant Carles de la Ràpita.

During the visit, they have been able to discover the project in first person and value on the ground the different possibilities to apply to LIFE actions and the problems and solutions that could be found.
